Three months ago His Excellency The Governor was pleased to appoint Mr. Joseph White to be Acting Sexton to the Colonial Chaplain and Sexton (subject to the approval of any nomination of Mr. Joseph White to the Office of Sexton, in connection with St. John's Cathedral for a probationary period of three months).
The time therefore having now expired and the said Joseph White having in every way shown himself well qualified to fulfil the duties of the Office,
